Originally from Coshocton, Ohio, Emily Higdon is now a long-time resident of the beach area and currently resides in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Emily seeks to share all the beauty and endless possibilities of the beach area with her clients by helping them find the perfect homes and communities for themselves and their families. She offers a seasoned knowledge of the area and an intimate understanding of what makes each property so unique. Her professional portfolio includes eight successful years of owning and managing an Advertising Agency with a 20 year run in the sales field. She leverages her extensive media and branding experience to broaden the scope of opportunities and find the best deals and prospects in the market for her clients. Her sales experience has equipped her with advanced negotiation, marketing, analytical, and organization skills. Emily is a dedicated member of the Higdon Property Group, working alongside her realtor husband to provide comprehensive and personalized real estate experiences. Her educational background in Interpersonal Communications enables her to connect with and appreciate her clients’ differences and uniqueness.

Outside of real estate, Emily is a wife and a proud mother of one son, Jett, a golden retriever -Roscoe and a yorkie- Chuck Norris.  She spends her free time breaking a sweat in the gym, playing tennis, boating and golf cart rides to the beach!
